ROSEWOOD4.0 Study Visit in Croatia: learning about WAVE ŠŠ
The South-East Europe (SEE) Hub study visit in Croatia was organised as a hybrid event on 13 October 2021, online via Zoom and in person at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry Sector in Zagreb, Croatia. The study visit was opened with a welcome speech from the Competence Centre Ltd (CEKOM), SEE Hub manager in ROSEWOOD4.0 consortium, as well as the Department for Forest Improvement, Forest Management, Hunting and Timber Industry of the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture.
The ROSEWOOD4.0 project and its activities were presented, with emphasis on the Best Practices of the South East Europe Hub. This was followed by a video on the Best Innovation and Practice “WAVE ŠŠ – Web application for data management on private forests and forest owners”.
Mr. Goran Smolčec (Croatian Ministry of Agriculture) explained how forest owners, foresters and employees of the Ministry of Agriculture use the web application by presenting the application modules and their content: logging module, accompanying documents module, Christmas trees module, forest damage module.
