Project News – What happened so far in ROSEWOOD4.0?
The first newsletter of 2021 is full of the latest developments in the framework of the ROSEWOOD4.0 project. Despite the difficulties and setbacks within the project due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic across Europe, the consortium partners have not ceased their activity and many initiatives and events have taken place, both in online and hybrid formats.
In this newsletter we have selected those ROSEWOOD4.0 highlights that we have been working on over the last months. We also put special focus on the work of our 5 regional hubs (North, Central West, South West, Central Eastern and South East Europe). In these hubs, different workshops and seminars have been held to determine the best practices and innovations in forestry and digitalisation in forestry that are being carried out in each country in Europe.
The final objective will be to establish a Knowledge Platform with factsheets for the European wood mobilisation sector so that practitioners, experts, public bodies and private professionals have access to all the innovation and best practices to enhance the forestry sector as a leading economic driving force in Europe.
