The first ROSEWOOD project newsletter is out

Read about how ROSEWOOD is growing, kick-starting activities in the 4 regional Hubs and about two best practices in sustainable wood mobilisation.

The first editionof the ROSEWOOD project newsletter focuses on the newly launched ROSEWOOD regional Hubs in South, North, Central and East Europe
On page 2 and 3 you can read short reports on the Hub launch events and find out more about what is going on at the Hub level.

Ever wondered what a ROSEWOOD best practice in sustainable wood mobilisation could look like?
On page 5 and 6 the ROSEWOOD consortium presents two best practices from Germany and Slovenia. The German platform wald-wird-mobil shows how private forest owners can be engaged for active forest management. In Slovenia the company M SORA re-uses old wooden windows to make new one. A window of opportunity for sustainable wood utilization in Europe!
