The first editionof the ROSEWOOD project newsletter focuses on the newly launched ROSEWOOD regional Hubs in South, North, Central and East Europe.
On page 2 and 3 you can read short reports on the Hub launch events and find out more about what is going on at the Hub level.
Ever wondered what a ROSEWOOD best practice in sustainable wood mobilisation could look like?
On page 5 and 6 the ROSEWOOD consortium presents two best practices from Germany and Slovenia. The German platform wald-wird-mobil shows how private forest owners can be engaged for active forest management. In Slovenia the company M SORA re-uses old wooden windows to make new one. A window of opportunity for sustainable wood utilization in Europe!
