The holiday season is just around the corner and we hope you have time to sit and read this ROSEWOOD newsletter edition in front of a cozy wooden fireplace. In our third newsletter we are proud to present to you the Rosewood Roadmaps and Map Viewer for Targeted Transfer of Best Practice and Innovations in Wood Mobilisation.

But first of all, we would like to put the spotlight on the ROSEWOOD Final Conference, jointly organized with the Forest Innovation Workshop 2020! All results of the ROSEWOOD network, roadmaps, policy recommendations and innovation project initiated will be presented in the event on January 15th and 16th, 2020, in Florence, Italy. Have a look at the programme on page 2.

On the agenda will be inter alia demonstration of the ROSEWOOD Map viewer, a unique repository of projects, initiatives and innovations for the forestry and wood community. Read more about the Best Practice & Innovation database on page 3. For those of you who want a more expert insight into regional states and potentials of wood mobilisation: the ROSEWOOD Roadmaps provide recommendations for each of the 4 network regions are now available on the project website along. Find an overview on pages 3 and 4.

The last year of the ROSEWOOD network activities, though, has not only been marked by the release of these important results. Besides many events on the Hub level, the Partner Meeting in Rovaniemi, Finland was a particular highlight. Read about the Best Practices visited with this occasion on page 5.
