ROSEWOOD4.0 at the Irish Forest Owners Webinar Series
On 17 February, our team member Uwe Kies (InnovaWood) introduced the ROSEWOOD4.0 project, its outcomes, activities and network at the webinar dedicated to European forestry research organised by the Irish Forest Owners (IFO), a body that supports the national forestry industry in Ireland.
The webinar focused on how European institutions and EU-funded forestry research projects open up opportunities for more sustainable silvicultural methods and more diverse forest products. In this line, the ROSEWOOD4.0 project played an important role in the seminar and generated a lot of interest.
The panel of speakers was completed by Aine Ni Dhubhain (Associate Professor, University College Dublin), Dr. Dermot O’Donovan (Galway School of Design and Creative Arts at GMIT Letterfrack, Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology) and Sean Garvey (Galway Mayo Institute of Technology – GMIT).
