EFI Bioregions event: Silvicultural visualisation and simulation tools
The Bioregions Facility at the European Forest Institute (EFI) presents the first event of the first series of its Matchmaking Events. This online session features the publicly-funded research projects iWald and Virtual Forest 2.0, selected and obtained through the ROSEWOOD4.0 project. Both research projects seek for use cases and potential partners for the further customisation and integration of their innovative forest visualisation tools.
Participate in the first series on “Digitisation of forest management, inventory and monitoring” where various good practices and innovations. At each of the events planned for the coming months, a minimum of two innovations selected by ROSEWOOD4.0 regional hubs will be presented. About EFI Bioregions Matchmaking events
The EFI Bioregions Matchmaking events connect regional innovation ecosystems related to the forest bioeconomy, support both business and public funding innovations and promote the creation and development of partnerships. The Bioregions Facility will organise several series of Matchmaking events during 2021-2022. Each series has a specific theme and will contain several events showcasing innovations on that theme. The FFI Bioregions Facility team is currently surveying stakeholders in the member regions to tailor the next series and events to the challenges and needs of the regions.
